This is a newer version of my directional paint program. The image you see here is a color wheel (or in this case, a square) constructed from six color images instead of pure colors. Each image is predominantly a primary or secondary color (red, yellow, orange, etc.) The applet interpolates between the different images to construct the wheel.

Pressing the mouse starts animation in the image. Dragging the mouse 'rotates' the wheel, beginning from the center.

This was a one week assignment for John Maeda's Numeric Photography course that took place in the Fall of 1998. (Later ported without further changes to vanilla JavaScript.)
